One of the first concerns for many new RV and motorhome owners is towing, and using a vehicle with enough towing capacity that is properly equipped with the hardware to safely tow a trailer. Using an RV or truck to tow a trailer can be difficult without the proper bearings and stability features for the hitch. RV towing becomes a complex task as well due its wide girth, but can be managed with a 4 x 4 pickup truck with enough towing capacity to haul a large RV using towing mirrors, tow bars, hitch locks, and tow brackets.
RV Hitches
The hitch on the back of your RV should be able to withstand a lot of weight, but it pays to take good care of it. We sell hitch ball covers to prevent rust and other forms of corrosion, lubricant spray to keep your hitch and hardware greased, and hitch guards for when not in use.
Safety Mirrors and Other Products
Adding extra mirrors to your existing setup is a wise precaution when towing a heavy RV, motorhome, or trailer. We sell brake control harnesses for added stability. We also carry spare bulbs and sockets for your truck taillights and the taillights on your trailer. These and the rest of the products in our towing and hitching inventory should make for a smooth and safe hauling of your RV or trailer. Truck towes can be the most dangerous, which is why we have taken extra care to provide you with products that suit this need.
